MassMilitaria Veteran Research Services
We offer comprehensive, in-depth historical research and basic historical research services focused on United States military veterans. Each project, whether a lengthy write-up on a veterans entire service history or basic details about a veterans service history, is carefully researched and constructed to document the veteran’s life, combat history, awards, and legacy during their service.
MassMilitaria’s research explores every possible resource we can. These resources allow us to examine enlistment history, unit assignments, training locations, promotions, awards and decorations, combat operations, campaign participation, wounds in action, and post-war service. Whenever possible, we incorporate unit histories, morning reports, award citations, battlefield movements, and contextual historical information to fully reconstruct the veteran’s experience.
The final product, when all resources are available, is a well-organized, chronologically structured written biography that highlights:
- Early life and pre-service background
- Pre-war or peacetime service (if available)
- Training and stateside assignments
- Overseas deployment and combat operations
- Awards, commendations, and citations
- Wounds, promotions, and leadership roles
- Post-war service and brief info on later life
Each biography is researched and written by MassMilitaria to the best of our ability using available military records, archival materials, and historical sources. Our goal is to preserve the service and sacrifice of each veteran through these stories with accuracy, respect, and depth in order to create a lasting record for families, historians, and future generations to appreciate.
MassMilitaria Research Service Packages and Request (FREE QUOTE)
Our research service prices vary and depend solely on the available records we can find that allow us to identify the depth in which we can uncover the veterans story. Once we identify the number of available resources and documents, we can discuss pricing depending on the depth of research you’d like.
Package 1
The first research service packages start at $55 dollars. This $55 will include “basic” information, listed in a clear and well displayed manner that identifies name, rank, date of enlistment, years of service, units served with, engagements, and awards/ decorations. This package will not include a write-up.
Package 2
Research services that exceed “Basic information” and provides you with a “write-up” will start at $125. *This will also include the same document provided in Package 1.*
Package 3
The most in depth packages, when the veterans service history is well documented and resources are plentiful, start at $250. *This will also include the same document provided in Package 1.*
